Grand Opening for a two-month long show "Ranching Rodeo and Recreation", featuring works deplicting the rustic living ranching history of Custer County and the scenic backdrop where it unfolds on a daily basis. The show will include pieces by Rustic Ranch Accents photographer, Carol Martinez,. pastel painter, Lynn Chapman and nationally- awarded, Raku potter, Karen LeBlond. Complimentary refreshments. Howard's 27th Annual Chili Cook-Off & Craft Show   (June 5-6, 2010) Howard, CO
Good eatin' and fine crafts are just part of the weekend events. In addition to the green chili (Saturday) and red chili (Sunday) contests and tasting, the two-day festival includes  a motorcycle and car show, flea market , charity auction and horseshoe pitching contests. Located on the grounds oft he Howard Volunteer Fire Station at 8274 Highway 50, Howard, CO. Call 719- 942-4213 for schedule.
 
4th of July Craft Show, Car Show, Flea Market & Fireworks (July 3-4, 2010) Westcliffe, Colorado
In the cool of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, you can browse over 50 vendors at the Craft Show and Flea Market. The Market is open Saturday from 9am – 3pm, and Sunday from 9am-2pm at the west end of Main St. in Westcliffe. The July 4th parade starts Saturday at 10am. The Classic Car Show is held Saturday from 9am-1:30pm. Fireworks over Lake DeWeese start at dark on Sunday, July 4th.
