For a unique made - in - Colorado gift, the Colorado Comfort Grip Pen, created by Dan Arnold, can be ordered in one of four exotic woods from the scroll down menu. Pictured left to right, are Canary Wood, Red Heart, Yellow Heart and Wenge Wood. Each pen has all metal parts with a protective acrylic finish. The metal patina also comes in four options. The "Colorado Comfort Grip" pen is a twist style of pen that takes the basic "Cross" ballpoint refill readily available at Walmart and office supply stores. As its' name implies the "Comfort Grip" has a soft rubber grip on the end to make it easy to hold and comfortable to use, especially for those times that you have a lot of writing to do. It takes a twisting action to run
the point out and to retract it.

One of  Dan's favorites is Wenge Wood, as the heartwood is a dark brown with a very close coarse grain and dark black veins. The tree is Native to Tanzania, Mozambique and the Congo region of Africa. The pen has a rubber comfort grip and comes in a clear plastic protective gift tube. Your gift will also come with a card that gives the history of the exotic wood you choose.
