The "Colorado Trident Pen" has a simple, yet robust design that makes this exotic wood pen a perfect Colorado gift for signing that big contract or for resting on an impressive desk.Your Colorado gift will also come with a card that gives the history of the exotic wood you choose. Displayed below, from left to right, shows the choices of exotic woods: Blue Mahoe, Curly Maple, Quilted Maple, Brazilian Tulip and Blood Maple. The Blue Mahoe is another of Dan's favorites, because of the various hues inherit in the wood. The Blue Mahoe is purchased from a company that is practicing sustainable harvesting from the rain forest of Puerto Rico, making it truly a made in Colorado "green gift". All of Dan Arnold's pens are sanded to a 12,000 grit for a glass-smooth finish and then rubbed with a special solution that includes CA glue and boiled linseed oil, preserving the beauty and integrity of the wood.
