The Western Hat Wine Bottle Tray is a great Colorado gift and cabin decoration or lodge decoration that enhances any western home decor. This kiln-fired western hat tray can serve hors d’oeuvres, cheese, crackers, spreads, candies and other delights. Enliven your table with a unique western tray for each guest. The trays have a wonderful smooth glassy feel on top and are dishwasher safe. To craft these specialty trays, wine labels are removed, the bottles completely cleaned. Then the bottles are placed in the kiln, atop the custom western design, fired in stages up to 1440 degrees, then ramped down to anneal and cool - an age old process refined with the modern computer-driven kiln. Bubbles and glass nuances create subtle differences with each firing. Colors range from amber to green, sometimes clear – the full scope of wine bottle colors.
Pattern: The picture shown here is a close-up of the western pattern that is imprinted as a relief on the wine bottle tray. You can see the pattern through the top of the glassy smooth tray, and see and feel its outline on the underneath side for a change in the glass texture.
Size: Each solid glass wine bottle tray is approximately 12" long by 4½" wide, depending on the size of the original wine bottle, and about ¼" thick.
